A Ford service dealer had flagged the need to replace the brake pads of my Ford F 350 tow truck. I made an appointment with Budget Brake & Muffler in Coquitlam, BC to replace my brake pads before embarking on a RV trip. I was pleasantly surprised when John Sinkie told me that my brakes were good for another 20,000 k’s & did not need replacing at this time. I find this honesty refreshing & rare. I will be using Budget Brake in Coquitlam for the service needs of all my vehicles. Well done John.

I took a used vehicle here for a pre-purchase inspection. I can only say good things about the service we received. Kadeem was very thorough and gave us an extremely detailed run down of the vehicle, as well as his honest opinion about it. He spoke with us on a personal level, offered advice, and was overall immeasurably helpful in helping us reaching a decision (we bought the car). I highly recommend John’s Mufflerman & Automotive Services. Prior to John’s, took my mechanic 6 hours to repair my resonator (center pipe) & the noise was still bad. A friend suggested John. John suggested we go before noon. It took him 5 minutes to give us 3 options & after selecting an option, took them less than one hour to build the over-axel, tail-pipe, & provide a universal muffler. The repair was miraculous – noise gone! Thank you for being a great mechanic with a fair price.

I went there 20 yrs ago when Hans owned the shop . He was amazing super nice very reasonable prices . The best . He knew his stuff. I had an issue on my way out of town he played with a couple wires n off I went . It seems he no longer owns the shop .
